Island Camping on the Indian River Lagoon

Opportunities for youth groups, adult groups, families and friends to experience an overnight stay on the inviting islands of this diverse estuary. The peaceful lap of the water will lull you to sleep after a full day of paddling, a most excellent dinner, and an evening of conversation or fishing under the stars. Dawn brings the sound of the lagoon awakening, a great blue heron calling as it flies low through the mist, the exhales of a pod of dolphin passing by, the early fishermen heading out to their secret spots. We will cook you a fabulous breakfast, including fresh brewed coffee with cream. An easy start to a full day of play! Explore the extensive grass flats and mangrove forests that make this such an awesome marine habitat. OR perhaps your mission is to relax- you can do that too! Pick a day to kick back with a book, swim, or hike the island. We make sure you are well fed and taken care of.

Educational activities can also be arranged.
