Explore the Exumas, a remote and unspoiled chain of islands in the southern end of the central Bahamas. Kayak along miles of uninhabited white sand beaches and limestone cliffs. The crystal clear waters are jeweled with living treasures: conch, stingrays, starfish, sea turtles, colorful fishes and corals. By night, you can enjoy a sky so filled with stars, you may wonder how they all fit!

Our camping itinerary will start on the island of Great Exuma in Georgetown. You will have the day to explore the town and meet the friendly townspeople. We will meet at our hotel in the evening for dinner and to go over charts and make our plan for the morning launch. We will be looking at weather and tide conditions to determine the best route.

Day 2 We will meet for breakfast, then load our gear and get started! We will drive to the northern portion of the island for the launch. Our first day of paddling will encompass a 9 mile paddle to the campsite. We will stop for lunch along the way. Expect to reach camp by mid afternoon. Once camp is set, you can explore the island, go for a swim and snorkel, kayak some more or just relax! Your guide will prepare a delicious and well-earned dinner.

Days 3-6 will be spent kayaking from island to island on the most beautiful waters you can imagine. This is sea kayaking at its finest! The exceptionally clear waters of the southern Bahamas are amazing! We generally spend 2-3 nights at each camp site. If your group wants to cover more ground, we can move camp more often and travel further.

You can swim and snorkel, you can fish, or take the time to read that book and soak up some sun. Plenty of good food is served with a smile and pleasant conversation stretches into the evening.

Day 7 comes all to soon and we pack up our camp for the paddle back to civilization. We usually take a different route in, so more beautiful scenery is in store.

You may opt for a longer camp experience. Trips are available to 18 days.

Arriving back in Georgetown, we will check in to the hotel. You have the afternoon for shopping or relaxing poolside. We meet for our final dinner together in the evening, and prepare for the journey home the following day.
